In 2016 and estimated 320,000 tourists visited Fairbanks. As both summer and winter tourism continue to grow, many of those visitors are seeking a more authentic experience. They are finding that experience  by using rent through websites such as Airbnb and VRBO. I've had several clients tell me they've made quite a bit of money renting out this way and generally have a great experience with their guests. It is a great way to get some cash flow out of your home to offset maintenance or help pay down your mortgage early.
